GLBTQ.COM CELEBRATES OSCAR MONTH
WITH TWO SPECIAL FEATURES
Spotlight on Gay and Bisexual Male Actors and Timeline of Academy Award Nominees Launch in February

(Chicago, January 20)--glbtq.com, the world's largest encyclopedia of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer (glbtq) culture, will celebrate the contributions of glbtq actors and actresses to cinematic history in special features on its home page (http://www.glbtq.com) throughout the month of February.
The first feature, a spotlight on gay and bisexual male film actors, introduces more than fifty encyclopedia articles on actors including Rudolph Valentino, Errol Flynn, James Dean, Sal Mineo, Raymond Burr, George Takei, Bruce LaBruce and B.D. Wong.
The second feature, a timeline of Best Actor and Actress Oscar winners and nominees included in the glbtq encyclopedia, begins in 1928 with Greta Garbo’s nominations for Anna Christie and Romance and ends with Sir Ian McKellen’s nomination for Gods and Monsters in 1998. Marlene Dietrich, Charles Laughton, Cary Grant, Montgomery Clift, Nigel Hawthorne and Jodie Foster are among the other honorees listed in the timeline.
