Review, POZ, Harrington Gay Men's Fiction Quarterly, and The Dark Shade of Our Desire: A Queer People of Color/ Mixed Blood Anthology. For his work translating the plays of Natalia Ginzburg from Italian, he was awarded the PEN American Center Renato Poggioli Prize for 2000. His poem, "Elegy for Matthew Shepard," was
nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
