Mario Champagne, Administrative Director of the Department of Music at Stanford University, holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has been a member of the Gay and Lesbian Studies Group of the American Musicological Society since its inception in 1985.
