Noel Riley Fitch is the author of such critically acclaimed books as Sylvia Beach and the Lost Generation and Anaïs: The Erotic Life of Anaïs Nin. She teaches nonfiction writing at the University of Southern California and expatriate literature at the American University of Paris.
