D. S. Lawson is Associate Professor of English at Lander University, Greenwood, South Carolina. He has published essays on AIDS theater, David Leavitt, Paul Russell, and James Merrill. His poetry has appeared in such journals as The James White Review, Bay Windows, Amethyst, and Five Fingers Review.
