Dear Mrs. Hogue,
I just read your book and I bought it because it was recommended for readers of Stephen King.. I'm so glad I did! You did not sidestep any issues. An evil, insane mother, a tortured child, later a tortured adult....all told in stark detail about how evil breeds evil, and the victims of this chain of events. This is your debut book? Please don't let it be your last!
