Hello.I am currently interested in an FtM and have a few questions for someone who might know the answer.I identify as a Lesbian and often get asked if in public with the FtM Im seeing how can I be a Lesbian and be seeing a guy.I try telling them that Im queer or changeing the subject.What can I say without compermiseing the person Im seeings safety or comfort?

Hello. I'm pretty sure we talked. But for other people who might read this thread with a similar question:
Everyone has their own boundaries of where they feel comfortable. This is why it's always best to ask your trans partner or your trans friend or relative what they feel comfortable with.
This isn't intended to be a support forum, since there are many of those out there anyway. Here is a really good one for teens: Outminds GenderQueer Forum.

I also am FTM and am havinf surgery in Feb 06. I labels that are thrown around just make a looser noose identifying (or trying to) your gender interest. My response would be, If I love someone, what do I need to have a label. Just celebrate with me, my happiness. Virginia Mollencott's book, "Omnigender" speaks that there are no labels, but continums that each person falls and even vasilates. Enjoy your life. _________________ J Liam Seward |
