I would have to say that the color of passion would be .......a Maui sunset ,a color that is not defined by any set rules or palette. A color so passionate that all you can do is sit on the beach and wonder, "what color is that" as you are awed by the beauty that is so wonderful that you cannot even think of anything else but what is before you.
I have too just moved to Maui about six months ago....and would love to chat if you get the chance!
