Multiple Personalities And Family Abuse. Can they Be The Prescriptions For Two Women's Journey Towards Murder?

These two One Woman plays Produced By Wabi Sabi Productions,"Winterkill" Written and Performed by Denise B.Flemming and "Thangs You Don't Say Outdoors" written by Dawn Winkler and Performed by Aba, take on the subject of who is victim and who is not when persons did not have control over their circumstances.

Plays are running as a double feature at the Producers Club Theater located at 358 W 44th St. NYC. The shows are running on Fridays and Saturdays Jan 13-2006 To Jan 21-2006 at 8pm. Tickets are $30 at the door,$25 in Advance And $15 for Students and Seniors.Tickets are available online at Theatermania.com and by Telephone 24/7 at theatermania call 212 352-3101.

So in life who are the real victims? There may not be a clear answer. But maybe the question needs to be raised more often. "Winterkill" and "Thangs You Don't Say Outdoors" are a shocking and unnerving reality that we can't afford to shove under the rug any longer. .

Wabi Sabi Productions Inc. is a Not For Profit Company whose mission is to provide new and effective ways through performance and the arts to present health and social issues affecting our communities so we can better understand their impact on us and assist communities in finding creative ways to deal with them.

J'ai Deux Amours...A Journey with Josephine Baker is about the legendary performer believed to be the only black woman in history who blended Black and French culture into one. She displayed elaborate costumes, learned to speak French and was considered "taboo" because of her forbidden, performances that caused many a man and woman the desire to touch, know and embrace her very being.
Written & performed by 3-time AUDELCO award winning African American actress Kimberly "Q", this one-woman show takes you on a journey, from Josephine's days of the chittlin' circuit poverty performances, to her exhilarating and energetic success as the woman who would "danse the sauvage" naked with just a banana skirt in Paris! J'ai Deux Amours... transcends you into the life of Madame Baker in a show filled with music, dance, hardships and triumphs!

"Residents" written by Ira Jeffries a longtime Producer at WOW theater cafe in the 1990's and doing a reading of one of her plays at the 2006 25th anniversary of WOW gets back on the scene with a production by Wabi Sabi productions of her play about 2 seniors in a seniors home and their relationship. They come from different social, cultural and economic backgrounds but are brought together by circumstances that put them in a seniors residence. The Play opens June 8-10 @ 6pm and June 11 @ 3PM at the Payan Theater Room 506 in The Times Square Arts Center located at 300 W 43 street @ 8th ave. The show runs Thurs-Sat at 6PM and Sunday at 3pm. 4 Shows ONLY. Tickets are $25 General and $15 Students and Seniors. Get tickets At www.theatermania.com or call Box 24 hours a day 212 352-3101. Groups and info call Emmitt 917 716-6635
The play directed by Emmitt Thrower is hilarious but really touches on issues regarding old age such as Safe Sex, Loneliness, Family abandonment,Friendships and more questions about senior homes and asks the question is it for everyone? What are some of the reasons people wind up in these places? It brings to light how diversity in upbringing or social status is not a wall that prevents friendships or understanding from taking place. The well conceived play is timely in its message of generational separation and degrading of the family responsibility concept..
