Couples Sought for Research on Stress and Relationships
Couples are presently being sought to participate in a confidential study on stress and romantic relationships. All cohabiting couples in committed long-term relationships (same-sex or opposite-sex) are eligible to participate. Past research in this area under represents same-sex couples, and it is hoped that the present study will provide information about how gay, lesbian, and opposite-sex relationships change and adapt over time. Participating couples will complete a series of internet surveys (taking approximately 1 hour total) over 9 months, and will receive $50 for their time. or contact James Graham, Ph.D. at: Psych.Research@wwu.edu; Department of Psychology, Western Washington Univeristy, 516 High Street, Bellingham, WA 98225-9089.
This research is supported in part by a Wayne F. Placek Small Grant administered by the American Psychological Foundation. The Wayne F. Placek Fund supports individual research grants that will advance the goals of increasing the general public's understanding of gay men and lesbians and reducing the stress experienced by them in this and future generations. |
