I think that GLBTQ is a wonderful website. Even though it is only covers a broad range of information I believe that it can be improved. I feel that the growing world of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenered characters on television would be a great subject to add to GLBTQ. They could title it separately as "FILM" and/or "TELEVISION".
In this link, there should be movie synopsis, user reviews and ranks/polls for each movie, sitcom or documentary. However, I don't think that this link should be bombared with Queer As Folk links. I respect the show and its screenplay but there is more in the world of film/television than that show. I believe that shows from befor Stonewall and after should be included. Within this group the history of the GLAAD Media Awards should be included.
Current shows, documentaries and sitcoms should be included. Like there can be a TV Guide just for episodes and movies coming out, so that the viewers of the sight can be aware of them.
I often miss out on shows until I read discussion boards on other websites. Perhaps, GLBTQ can send out weekly, biweekly or monthly e-mails to keep people updated on these upcoming events.
As I said before, GLBTQ is a wonderful site however, it says that it is "an encyclopedia of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered & queer culture". Therefore, it should look into other aspects of "straight life" within the queer community.
Thank you, for listening and taking an interest in the ideas and comments of your viewers. |
