We are conducting an on-line study at Purdue University that will further our understanding of people’s romantic relationships. In particular, we are interested in the relationship experiences of partners who are intentionally keeping their relationships secret from others (such as family members, friends, employers, etc.); however, persons in any type of romantic relationship are welcome to participate. The only requirements for participation in this study are that you are at least 18 years of age and are currently involved in a relationship.

Participation in this research requires only that you complete a brief survey that asks questions about you, your partner, and your relationship. However, we do not ask questions that require you to provide any personally identifying information. Your responses will be kept strictly confidential, and all data will be encrypted using the same standards that businesses use for handing credit card information.
