Call for Research Participants

I am a clinical psychology graduate student at Bowling Green State University and I am looking for participants for my dissertation. My study investigates the experiences of men and women 18-24 years old who experience some aspect of same-sex attraction. I am especially interested in understanding the religious and/or spiritual experiences of these individuals, regardless of whether they have a strong sense of spirituality or not.

Who can participate?

United States citizens who are 18 to 24 years old
Must answer yes to ANY ONE of these questions:
Are you physically or romantically attracted to people of your sex?
Have you had physically intimate or sexual experiences with people of your sex?
Do you have romantic or sexual fantasies about people of your sex?
Do you identify yourself as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or queer?

Why should I participate?
The knowledge gained through this research will help to educate the public and professionals who interact with people who have same-sex attraction.
I hope this study will help promote community awareness and growth toward understanding the experiences of same-sex attracted people.

What do I have to do?
Go to a website to read more about the study and decide if you want to participate
Complete an online survey that asks questions about your background, beliefs, and experiences.

How long will it take?
It could take up to 30 minutes to complete the survey. Some people might take less time, others might take more.
