One of the pet projects of those against same sex marriage is DOMA. In My view is that this law was created for the wrong reasons.
They erroneously believe that GLBTQ people are a threat to the survival of marriage. THe biggest threat to marriage is DIVORCE. Half the marriages in this country end in divorce. Sadly, it's about the same among Chritran couples.
I have been married nearly 30 years. I am also a transgender person. Guess you can say I'm the antithesis of what anti same sex foes claim. Just like Don't Ask, Don't Tell, DOMA is a useless law which hurts innocent people.
