For lack of a better place to start this topic, Im interested in hearing from folks about how being online has influenced (or not) their experience as a LGBTQIA person?
I recently started a website about 8 months ago and have seen an explosion in our population there.
The website is www.butchfemmeplanet.com and is specific to Butches, Femmes, Studs, Divas, Transpersons, and Genderqueers who orbit around the Butch and Femme dynamic. It isnt the only website of it's kind but it seems to be the most active.
I have been noticing several folks new to the dynamic feeling their way around, asking questions and such. I think that this experience isnt limited to Butches and Femmes: Im thinking that lots of us have made friends on the internet, found a date, found out about Pride events, etc.
I'd love to hear other peoples thoughts on how being online has made your LGBTQ world better!
Thanks!
