Coming out was one of the happiest experiences of my life. To profess that I was transgender was liberating. I'm sure that many have felt this way.
Why is it that some people against us say that GLBT people are sad? I've never been happier in my life. Yes, it's can be difficult at times to live in a society that scorns me because of my gender identity. It's the forces outside that make the lives GLBT folks difficult.
When I came out to someone I stayed out. Wasn't going to retreat becase someone doesn't like me or didn't like who I was. I encourage everyone to be happy with who you are.
