There have been many successes in the trans community in recent weeks. Visibility is one of the reason, I believe. People are putting themselves out there to make their issues known. Putting a face to a community does make an impression on those we are trying to reach. I came out to my place of worships last week and it has made an impression. My wife accepts me as a trans person. Last week was the first time she went anywhere with me when I was 'Gennee'.

Persistence is essential to anything being successful. It take courage to go against the graing but it needs to be done. It's something that I have chosen to do.
