Does anyone have any suggestions as to the theme of Like People in History by Felice Picano? It's a great story with some hilarious dialog.

Reading the discussion threads, I see that several members have recommended this book. However, its such a long book, its difficult to pin down the theme of the book.

I'm thinking it has to do with grabbing love by the foot and hanging on tight.

Also does anyone know of any good gay book discussion forums on the web?
