Q Television Network and PrideVision Sign a Letter of Intent
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – March 31, 2005– Q Television Network’s, (Pink Sheets: QBID) President and CEO, Frank Olsen and Bill Craig, CEO of Canadian OUTtv D.B.A. PrideVision announced today that they have signed a Letter of Intent to explore opportunities by which the two companies may take advantage of joint programming initiatives and a potential equity investment in the Canadian Television service.
The Parties have identified a number of areas of interest, including the telecast of Canadian produced live and acquired programming in the U. S. as well as branding and marketing opportunities for the respective television services.
Mr. Craig, said, “A relationship with Q Television Network could provide OUTtv with the opportunity to share gay programming throughout the world.”
“I feel this is the first step in a long relationship between the two networks,” said Olsen. “We have a great interest in working with OUTtv and moving Q Television forward with this venture. This also shows how committed Q Television and its executives are at making GLBT televisions succeed for the queer communities.”
Q Television is interested in OUTtv purely for its family/life programming and the company and its executives have no interest in the networks’ pornographic shows.
