I'd like to know whether someone read anything by Pierre Guyotat. His writing is very complicated to understand, but he made a book called"Tombeau Pour 500 000 Soldats"supposedly taking its origins in the Algerian war (it is never explicitely stated anywhere in the book,though-Only those with a knowledge of-French-modern-day history can gather); Some of the 'homoerotic' passages (and there is quite a lot of them)are highly charged with-electricity,to say the LEAST.Even though I now KNOW the whole book reads actually more like a print version of"Salo and the 120 days of Sodome"than your average "sex novel",gay or straight ,that one book used to be my"coming-out"book in my early teens !(Also,it understandably got banned in 1965,year of it being published..)
