Does this apply for bi and/or transsexual people as well, or simply gays?

I don't believe it is absolutely necessary for a gay artist to only paint, sculpt, or photograph nudes. There was a wonderful virtual gallery on the web called El Museo del Gayo, which showcased gay artists from historical to the present time. I was very fortunate to have 2 of my art pieces included. They were very beautiful male nudes. However, the main direction of my work now is more traditional landscapes, florals, and still lifes. I do include 1 nude. I finally conquered the web site and am very proud of my finished product including 3 animations.

what makes of an artist a gay artist? the fact that he is gay or the fact that he talks in his work about gay issues? or what? can anyone tell me?
