“Ugly Ducklings,” a new documentary co-produced by Lyn Mikel Brown (co-founder of Hardy Girls Healthy Women) and Lauren Sterling (Co-chair of Greater WatervilleArea Communities for Children and Youth,) is now available at www.hghw.org. This documentary, and its optional accompanying Community Action Kit, were designed to benefit LGBTQ youth as they come out to their families and communities, while also addressing issues of harrassment that unfortunately can result. With sections for Educators, Parents, Youth, and a section addressing Teen Suicide, this curriculum is innovative and participates in the national campaign to promote tolerance. If interested (for non-profits/schools/universities you can preview the products) or with inquiries, please contact me, Jess, or look at the Hardy Girls website for more information. Thanks and have a fabulous day. _________________ Jessica Morgan
