I am doing a research project on homosexuality, and other alternative lifestyles, in Elizabethan and Jacobean England.
Does anyone have any good sources for this information, online or otherwise? I am having a hard time finding anything. |

The following are all good books:
Homosexuality in Renaissance England by Alan Bray
Homosexual Desire in Shakespeare's England by Bruce R. Smith
James VI and I and the History of Homosexuality by Michael B. Young
Sodomy in Early Modern Europe edited by Tom Betteridge (various chapters deal with England)
All these books are good for further references too.
Hope that helps. _________________ Ross Brooks

Wow, thank you so much. I actually had a hard time finding any related books in my university library but I will certainly look these up. Once again, thank you. This is very helpful. |
