I am interested in corresponding with anyone who would like to discuss Queer Futures.
It is important for us to look forward to the direction our culture/cultures may be taking us
and to hold an analytical view of the queer cultures which already exist in western societies. I am particularly interested in the future of queer cultures, our process of assimilation with the wider straight world and whether this assimilation is threatening the beauty of our essential differences from straights.
How far should we assimilate and take on "Straight Values"?
To what extent can we maintain a uniquely queer cultural expression?
And what uniquely queer cultural expressions can you find expressed in your own GLBTQ communities ?
What directions would you like to see Queer Culture take in the future ?
Please communicate with me as I am gathering material for a future book and will credit you with a mention if we can share some useful ideas. _________________ TomSparta |
