To All,

I'm interested in knowing more about 1930's Germany. One of my classes this quarter at school is about Homosexuals during Nazi Germany. For our final project, I want to compare and contrast examples of homosexual, jewish, and nazi dance, music and visuals. From my comparison, I hope to assert that these art forms of all three cultures are indeed strikingly similar. So much so, that I hope to propose that the entire holocaust could have been averted had the different groups gotten together to dance, sing and go to art showings!

At the end of the presentation, I want to project a slide presentation of the different artworks while dancing to different musical examples.

AND I'VE GOT THREE WEEKS TO GO!!!

If anyone has any websites, books, recordings, personal experience, whatever they would like to share, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks again for your help.

Hello

Last year I saw an interesting exhibition in Budapest about the Holocaust.
In the Art of Place(www.mucsarnok.hu) the titel the exhibition was The Hidden Holocaust.
It was a group exhibition with 40 hungarian( and from other easter european countries) contemporary artists.
Painter,Photographers,Performacers ...etc
They made own experiences about the holocaust to the photos, paintings or video.
Some pictures here:

I dint find english text about the exhibition only hungarian.
to the exhibition there is catalogue (English/ Hungarian)

Take Care

Gyorgy
