I have been reading a lot of drumbeats for former Senator Nunn as Obama's vice presidential choice. As you may recall, Nunn was the architect of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. The thinking is that Nunn might be able to carry Georgia for Obama, especially if Libertarian Party candidate Bob Barr (another Georgian) becomes a credible candidate.

I think Nunn would be a disastrous choice. It would certainly cause me to stay home on election day. Any thoughts about Nunn as Obama's vice-presidential candidate? Any other suggestions for Veep?
