I am out in public quite a bit. I have done normal activities while crossdressed. I have shopped, dined in a restaurant, attended a church service, and spoken to the public. No one pays any mind when I'm out on the street. I have been treated well by sales assistants. I'm just another woman out in the world. I have received compliments from both men and women. I have also been asked for dates and was twice proposed to.

I wonder if the public's perception of transgender people is changing? People can pick up negative vibes, especially if you aren't comfortable with yourself. If someone asks what it is to be transgender, I answer them as best I can. I have maintained that this journey would take me places and it has. I pray for the day when we are accepted for who we are.
