While some states have passed marriage equality bills, laws for protections for transgender people are voted down or not discussed. Thus far, it's happened in New Hampshire, Nevada, and Maryland. In New York State, The GENDA bill is in the state senate. This is a very critical time for transgender people. I pray that all our efforts will be rewarded in the passage of GENDA, ENDA, and laws against workplace discrimination.
