The creators of the online /hexagonegay/ archive sent this message about their new online gay history site:
Dear Gay friends,
After 6 years of preparation, we are pleased to annonce the launching of the online digital archives of the GLBTQ French collective memory : \"HEXAGONE GAY\".
Hundreds of unpublished documents tracked the lifestyle of the French homosexuals between the late 19th century until the late 1980s through their meeting places, their artists, their associations, their events...
