Activity is heating between Equality Maryland and the proposed HB 235. Many are against the bill because it leaves out provision for using public accomodations. Besides the bathroom, transgender can be barred from using dressing rooms in stores, eating in arestaurant, or just getting medical treatment. Without his provision written in transgender people will still be discriminated against.
