The new year is approaching fast. Maybe this year you achieved some goals you set for yourself. I want to know what are some things you want to accomplish in 2006? What would you like to see achieved in the transgender community? Two of my goals is to dress totally en femme and know more about the other genders within the transgender community. All replies are valuable and will be treasured. Thank you.

I plan to get more politically involved than ever before in 2006. I wish many would do the same. :) _________________ Alexandra |

Hi, Alexandra! I read your reply and I thank you for your comment. I believe more people will become politicially involved this year since it is midterm elections. We need to research everything about all the candidates and their positions on the issues involved. Alternative news, I find, have some of the best sources.
Feel free to wirtes again.

Hi,
I believe it isn't all that hard to find out who will speak for us in Washington and who will not. We may not personally like certain politicans, but if they will vote our way on things that matter, like civil rights and other legal protection, we need to put them (or keep them) in office.
Unfortunately, in this political climate we are more concerned with perserving the rights we already have. The party in power isn't friendly to all things glbtq. I hope to educate more people about this, and if they haven't voted before, to do so in 2006. We've a good opportunity to make a major change then! _________________ Alexandra |

Back in January, I asked if any of you have any goals that you want to accomplish? i'm happy To report that three goals that I set were accomplished.
1. I went out dressed in public as a transvestite. I am comfortable in my life as a transgender and a transvestite.
2. I came out to my wife. I wanted to tell her anyway and I did. It shcked at first but now she realizes that dressing is a part of my life. We even share outfits!
3. Some states have passed laws which are trans inclusive.
I am seeking new goals. How have you done? Has any thing you have done made an impact upon your life?
