From the acclaimed eye of international star fetish photographer, Lolita, comes a double feature of selected works from two of Lolita's most popular series, "Candyland" and "Catgirls," making their South Bay debut showing at Flazh!Alley Studio in San Pedro.

The mysterious Lolita was born in Bogotá, Columbia to a German father and an English mother, with deep Central and South American roots, who moved young Lolita to Germany. Over the next 15 years Lolita spent extensive time on both sides of the Atlantic. Berlin, Germany and suburban New Jersey created a dichotomy that was to be the driving force behind Lolita's work.

Lolita's career started with shooting photos on a stolen Olympus camera at age 16 which inspired Lolita to go legit and continue serious training at Brooks School in North Andover, MA, Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York, the University of Arizona and Santa Monica College.

Masterfully utilizing the techniques of brilliant, hard edged, saturated color with the softness of high key lighting and the playfulness of Lolita's models' poses, Lolita combines and transforms the styles of two 20th Century Masters, Helmut Newton and David LaChapelle to create the distinctive, "Lolita Look" firmly established by Lolita's years of shooting glamour bondage photography.

Flazh!Alley Studio is an "adult only" venue (18 and older) and is a "by invitation" and "by appointment" only gallery. Private parties are also invited. Flazh!Alley is located at 1113 S. Pacific Ave., San Pedro, CA. Park in the large city parking lot behind the Ramona Bakery at Pacific Ave. & 11 Street. Enter Flazh!Alley from the alley, of course.
