Jim Kepner
(1923-1997)

Jim Kepner was a pioneering gay journalist and activist who founded the International Gay and Lesbian Archives. His archive merged with the ONE Institute collection in 1994. The combined archive is housed at the University of Southern California and now comprises more than 2,000,000 items.
