 Health Issues
Silicone pumping, the injection of industrial silicone into buttocks, legs, and sometimes breasts and faces, is a staple of many transvestites' lives, especially those who engage in sex work, and creates health problems unique to this community.
The adverse effects of pumping can be disfiguring and even fatal. They include silicone dropping down into the ankles and feet, the immune system's rejection of silicone, and silicone entering the bloodstream or vital organs. |
