Angela Jimenez (b. 1975) is a journalist and documentary photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. The images featured here are from her book project about the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival.

The Michigan Womyn's Music Festival is a separatist event by and for womyn that has been held on private land since 1976. Jimenez has been documenting and participating in the tight-knit worker community that builds and deconstructs the Festival over the course of a month each year.

Jimenez, who holds an M.A. in photojournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, is a regular contributor to The New York Times and The Newark Star-Ledger and a former staff photographer/editor for Velvet Park magazine.
