Patsy Lynch (b. 1953) is a professional photographer and photojournalist who created these images at the first March on Washington in 1979.

Lynch, who works in and around Washington, D.C., has been documenting the glbtq community since 1976. She writes that she "is proud and thrilled to be part of a community that is finally getting the recognition and civil rights we deserve."

The Gay and Lesbian Activist Alliance granted Lynch a Distinguished Service Award in 2006.
