Jack Robinson (1928-1997) worked as a photographer between 1950 and 1972. Though his career was cut short by alcoholism, during the seventeen years that Robinson worked as a professional photographer, he rose to become a favorite of legendary Vogue magazine editor Diana Vreeland and a noted photographer of celebrities and musicians in the 1960s and early 1970s.
The images featured here spotlight Robinson's photographs of musicians, celebrities, and the work of two fashion designers whose lives and careers have had an impact on glbtq culture and history.
